## A typical workflow

Discover the record and read its latest state before making changes. Supply the version field required by that endpoint, preserve values you are not changing, and read the result again after saving.

> Sending, ticket management, commerce changes, and reservation messaging require their own permissions. Reservation reads do not create bookings or check live availability.
