# Business and events

> Map Visito business data to your systems, read messaging reports, and react to changes with signed webhooks.

## Choose a resource

> **[Business and locations](https://docs.visitoai.com/api-reference/properties/list-properties.md)**
>
> Discover configured operating units and read business context for the authenticated account.

> **[Reporting](https://docs.visitoai.com/api-reference/reporting/retrieve-reporting-summary.md)**
>
> Read messaging summaries for a selected reporting period.

> **[Webhooks](https://docs.visitoai.com/api-reference/webhooks/list-webhook-subscriptions.md)**
>
> Manage event subscriptions and inspect webhook delivery attempts.

> **[Documentation search](https://docs.visitoai.com/api-reference/documentation/search-published-visito-documentation.md)**
>
> Search the public Visito documentation and read matching pages through the API.

## A typical workflow

For event-driven integrations, create a subscription for the relevant events, verify signatures in your receiver, and fetch the referenced resource through the API. Use webhook delivery history to investigate receiver failures.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The credential determines the business boundary. Properties are operating units within that boundary. Webhook events contain identifiers and metadata; use the API to retrieve conversation content.
