Make your first request

1

Create an API key

In the Visito dashboard, open Build → API Keys and create a key with channels:read. Store it on your server. See authentication and permissions.
2

List your channels

Use the production base URL and send your key as a Bearer token.
3

Choose your next endpoint

Use a channel’s stored id, then check the permissions, parameters, and responses on the endpoint page. Expand a sidebar category to browse its endpoints.

Before you integrate

Read Using the API for authentication, pagination, errors, retries, and asynchronous delivery. The API is server-to-server: keep keys out of browser and mobile client code.
Use the OpenAPI definition to generate clients or work with a coding assistant. Endpoint pages are generated from the same definition.
