1. Review your inbox Settings

If you’re not seeing Instagram messages in your Visito Inbox, your Instagram settings may be blocking DMs from people you don’t follow.
  1. Go to your Instagram app settings → Message Controls
  2. Make sure you allow messages from:
    • Everyone, or
    • People you don’t follow
  3. Or use the direct link to review your settings: Instagram Message Settings
Once updated, messages will start flowing into Visito without issues.

2. Uninstalling Connected Apps and Reconnect

If you’re having trouble connecting Instagram to Visito, it’s often because another app or old integration still has access to your Instagram account. Removing these conflicting apps helps ensure a clean connection. Follow the steps below to uninstall previous Instagram or Facebook app integrations.
Steps:
  1. Open the Instagram app.
  2. Go to your Profile.
  3. Tap the Menu (☰) in the top-right corner.
  4. Select Settings and Privacy.
  5. Scroll down and open App and Website Permissions.
  6. Tap Apps and Websites.
  7. Under the Active tab, look for any connected apps.
  8. Select each one and tap Remove.
Once all old apps are removed, return to Visito and reconnect Instagram to complete the setup.
