Visito connects to your existing WhatsApp Business App number (Coexistence) so you can:
  • Keep your current number
  • Continue using the WhatsApp Business App normally
  • Manage conversations at scale through Visito
  • View message history in both places

Step-by-Step Guide

Before you begin, please ensure the following:
  • You have a Facebook account and can sign in.
  • You are using the WhatsApp Business App (v2.24.17 or higher)
  • Your phone number is active on your device
  • You can receive messages on your WhatsApp Business App
  • You are logged in to your Visito dashboard

Start the WhatsApp connection

Navigate to the Connect tab in your Visito dashboard and select WhatsAppConnect.Open the Connect PagePlaceholder — Visito Connect Tab

Log in to your Facebook account and create or select a Business Portfolio

Log in with your Facebook account.
After logging in, Meta will prompt you to either:
  • Select an existing Business Portfolio, or
  • Create a new one, if you don’t already have one.
This portfolio is where your WhatsApp assets will be managed.
One of the most common reasons WhatsApp bans a phone number is an invalid or incomplete business website.
Make sure your website loads correctly and includes essential pages such as Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Contact Information.
An incomplete or broken website can lead to verification issues or account restrictions.

Select 'Connect your existing WhatsApp Business App' and enter your phone number

Choose the option to use your existing WhatsApp Business App number.
Enter the phone number currently active on your WhatsApp Business App.

Scan the QR code from the WhatsApp Business App

You will receive a message inside your WhatsApp Business App with a button labeled Scan QR.
Tap it, and then scan the QR code displayed on the Visito setup screen using your phone’s camera.

Choose whether to sync your message history

WhatsApp will ask if you’d like to share your existing chat history with Visito.
Select the option that fits your preference.
If you choose yes, Visito will import your past messages so you can keep everything in one place.

Finish setup in Visito

After scanning the QR code and confirming your settings, return to the Visito setup window.
Click Finish to complete the connection.
Your number is now connected and ready to use with Visito.

Done! 🎉

Your WhatsApp Business App number is successfully connected to Visito.
You can now:
  • Send and receive messages through Visito
  • Automate conversations using your AI agent
  • Keep using your WhatsApp Business App normally
  • Maintain message history in sync across both
